Flambeau currently has executive orders from CARB which allow us to offer design based solutions to your design team. Design based certification allows manufacturers the flexibility to streamline the development process by specifying components which have already been tested and approved. We have already accomplished the tasks of testing and approval and now offer solutions for CARB regulations.

What are CARB fuel tanks? CARB (California Air Resource Board) has recently enacted regulation in the state of California to reduce emissions from small off-road equipment such as lawn mowers, garden tractors, and landscape equipment. Fuel tanks are now required to permeate a lower amount of fuel. To meet this requirement Flambeau Fluid Systems has developed a solution and received approval with executive orders from CARB (Click here to view). We are also staying abreast of the similar regulation changes being considered by the U.S. EPA.
