CARB Emission Compliant Fuel Tanks
Flambeau Fluid Systems now offers
2.5, 5, and 6 gallon (9.46, 18.93, and 22.71 L) tanks which meet the California Air Resource Board (CARB) guidelines for evaporative emissions. These tanks are approved by CARB under Component Executive Orders C-U-06-014 and C-U-07-012, and conform to the permeation
requirements set forth in Title 13 of California Code of Requirements, Section 2754 pursuant to procedure TP-901. These executive orders grant Flambeau approval to manufacture and
sell fuel tanks which have passed these test procedures. Beginning in 2007, government
regulations have changed for evaporative emissions on small off-road gasoline powered
equipment, changing the use of traditional fuel tank materials and manufacturing processes. Flambeau Fluid Systems is at the forefront of these evolving regulations which is evident by our offering these fuel tanks. |

Miscellaneous Tank Applications
Flambeau Fluid Systems offers tank
capacities ranging from 0.25 liter (0.26 Qt) through 8 gallon (30.28 L) for a variety of uses. In addition to the standard uses such as windshield washer, overflow, hydraulic, oil, and fuel tanks, these tanks are being purchased for water, ink, soap, chemicals, and a variety of other unique applications. The tanks are molded out of high-density polyethylene. The material exhibits excellent environmental stress crack resistance and is especially designed for
containers accommodating aggressive agricultural and household chemicals. The resin meets the requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulation 21 CFR 177.1520. These multi-purpose tanks are molded in natural colored material which allows you to be able to see the fluid level through the tank walls. Black and special colors can be run if the volumes are
sufficient for special setup. |
